As many of you know, I moved into my house a little over two years ago. I'm a slow decorator for a number of reasons. First of all, I like to be in my space for a good amount of time to see what type of decor I think I might want. But my budget is another key factor.
It can be extremely expensive to furnish and decorate a home. I am still regularly looking for decor items for various rooms in my home. I have learned over the last two years that even though I love the look of a lot of high end decor items, there is no need to break the budget when it comes to decorating your home.
There are so many affordable stores that have high end looking decor for less. This post will cover my favorite finds on Amazon as well as a list of stores I check regularly for cheap home decor.

Best Cheap Home Decor on Amazon
I get so many amazing decor pieces for my home on Amazon. We are prime members so everything ships so quickly! You truly can't beat the prices either. I love to either order items myself or add them to my Amazon wish list so that I can send people there when they ask what I may want for birthdays or Christmas.
It has been so helpful from a budget perspective to get decor items as gifts. And the best part is that my family can see the items up in my home when I host! Here are some of my current favorites as well as items I have recently added to my wish list!
Industrial Floor Lamp
I have this floor lamp in gold in my living room and I am constantly getting questions on where I got it! These lamps can go for so much more at other stores so I had to add it to my list when I saw the price. I love the light it gives off and the fact that the switch is on the floor! The gold finish is so pretty and I love the industrial look as well.
Rattan Coffee Table Tray
This coffee table tray is so affordable and cute! It fits a vase, candle, coasters, etc. I have it on our living room table but you can use it in so many different places. The handles are great because you could also use it as a serving tray and it makes it easy to move it when you're cleaning or clearing the table.
Countertop Fruit Basket
This fruit basket is so stinking cute. I have it on my kitchen counter and it holds so much produce! I love the black finish because it goes with so many decor styles.
Wooden Bowl
I've had this wooden bowl on my list for some time and really need to pull the trigger on it. I have a similar one from Target on my kitchen table as the center piece but this one seems larger and has a more natural finish. This would be so much more expensive at a high end store so I think it's a great find!
Natural Wooden Stand
I've had my eye on this wooden stand for so long! I'm obsessed with the look of it and think it would be so cute on your counter top or in your bathroom. You can put literally anything on it but I love the idea of having hand soap/lotion or a candle/vase combo on top.
Faux Pampas Wreath
I can't wait to get my hands on this faux pampas wreath for my bedroom. This style has been super in recently and I love the boho/natural look to it! I think it would be so nice above a bed or a dresser.
Faux Ficus Tree
This faux ficus tree is currently in my cart. I think it would look amazing in your bedroom or living room and it looks so natural! I haven't been able to find something similar for any cheaper so I would definitely look at Amazon for faux trees!
Woven Baskets
These woven baskets are perfect for you living room or bedroom. They are great for storage and I love the handles on them. I've even seen people use them to store kids items or dog toys. They are extremely affordable and really give your space a clean look!
Dirt Cheap Home Decor
Although these are some of my cheap home decor finds on Amazon, I am looking for inexpensive items everywhere I go. I am going to list the stores where I find some of my best pieces below. Some of them have online shopping options and some don't so it kind of just depends. However, always remember that you don't have to break the bank when it comes to decorating your home!

I would say Marshalls, Target & Home Goods are the three places I find the best cheap home decor on a regular basis. I am a HUGE fan of the Hearth and Hand and Studio McGee lines at Target. Home Goods and Marshalls can definitely be more hit or miss but when you find something good, it's so stinking good. Some times I leave with an empty cart and sometimes I spend a couple hundred dollars but leave with a whole rooms worth of stuff!
Now don't get me wrong, your girl absolutely loves items from Crate & Barrel, West Elm and even CB2 and sometimes you can get things for really great prices so it's always worth looking if that's your style. However, you won't catch me buying items from there if they seem too overpriced.
There are so many amazing stores with great quality items for affordable prices. It has been so fun for me to find items that I love at those higher end stores and then search more affordable stores for similar items.
