For the longest time I had lamps that were gifted to us or handed down from family and friends who no longer needed them. And as nice as that was when we were just starting out, I really wanted to upgrade our lighting to match the aesthetic of our home more.
However, if you're not careful, you can end up over spending on nice lamps. I was on the hunt over lighting that looked expensive without the price tag. Amazon has been a game changer when it comes to purchasing new lamps.
I love that they have options for every decor style, its affordable and they last! When I have gotten super cheap lamps in the past, they have stopped working after a couple of years. The reviews on these gorgeous lamps are amazing.

I'm a firm believer that you can get the look of pieces from high end stores for less if that is more comfortable for your budget. Getting inspired by stores like West Elm & CB2 is great, but I may not always choose to invest in those exact pieces if I can't at that time.
Don't feel pressured to have the best of the best if its not in your comfort zone. Always remember you can accomplish the same look for best and you will always enjoy your finished space more if you know you didn't over spend.
