There are so many areas in your home that need a deep cleaning every once in a while. This deep cleaning checklist will ensure you never forget any areas!
Looking to give your house a serious deep clean? There are so many areas that we forget to deep clean because we are so preoccupied with keeping it tidy.
There are so many pros to doing regular deep cleans. However, its one of the hardest cleans because it can be extremely time consuming. I will clean what feels like my entire house just to sit down and realize there were areas I didn't get to.
This deep cleaning checklist is built to cover every single room and area I could think of. However, you can break it up however you need to so that you can make it manageable.
Not everything on this checklist needs to be done at the same frequency. Therefore, you can tackle some areas every six months and some every month. Just remember, you may not be able to get through everything but at least it will get it on your radar.
I personally think the best way to tackle a deep clean is to finish one room at a time. It is so easy to get distracted when cleaning so I like to tackle a room from top to bottom before moving on.
For the sake of making this digestible, assume that you have already tidied these areas are only focusing on the deep clean.

Deep Cleaning Checklist PDF
Below is a free PDF version of the checklist above! Feel free to print this off and use it when you are in deep cleaning mode!
This pretty much covers every area I can possibly think of! Obviously it is assumed that things are tidy and organized before you start the deep clean. This checklist is designed to highlight the areas that require less frequent and tougher areas to deep clean.
You can determine how often certain areas in your house need to be done. Families with kids & pets may need to be done more frequently than someone that lives on their own.
However, everything on this checklist gets dusty & grimy over time. When things are maintained they tend to last longer and function more properly.
