Ready to update your guest bathroom decor for Spring?! This post covers the cutest decor pieces that are simple but make your space feel brand new!
We're almost there guys! Warm weather is around the corner which means we are in the Spring cleaning and decorating phase of the year.
This is my favorite time of the year because it feels like a fresh start. The holidays are behind us and Spring is on its way. One of the areas I recently tackled from a home decor perspective was our guest bathroom.
I feel like there is a weird in between decor wise when you've taken down Christmas decorations but aren't sure what to put up until Spring. It's so exciting when I can finally put up my Spring items!
Guest bathroom decor can be super affordable while also making the space feel updated and fresh.

Guest Bathroom Accessories
When it comes to any bathroom, there are a few key places you can focus on for decor. The goal is to avoid going overboard when it comes to decorating because I believe it can take away from the overall result. I suggest taking a look at your space and seeing if any of the areas below work for possible decor.
- Shelves
- Empty wall space
- Counter tops
- Toilet Tank
Our bathrooms are honestly tiny in comparison to most. Therefore, this post will mainly contain small guest bathroom decor ideas.
Although small spaces can be frustrating, it kind of forces you to get creative. Definitely don't assume just because a space is small that you can't make it look nice!
There are plenty of small yet effective items that take your space to the next level. A few of the items this post is going to cover are faux plants, candles, cannisters, clocks, pictures, shelves, trays and more!
When it comes to styling shelves, I think dimension is key. I tend to find things that are various heights, colors, etc. that tend to offset one another. Although you want things to be cohesive and not overwhelming, it can be boring if everything is too uniform.
Guest Bathroom Wall Decor
Whether you have enough wall space to add some shelves or just enough for some pictures, wall space is a great place to incorporate decor items. I usually tend to stick to framed images or a set of shelves that I can decorate.
Depending on the type of style you are going for, smaller macrame hangings are another great way to add some dimension or greenery on your walls. Some possibilities are linked below!
If I had to pick just one due to space, I love shelves are the best option. They give you so much versatility and look good even with just a few small items.
Guest Bathroom Toiletries
Let's talk toiletry-like items. When it comes to completing a space, these types of items are the finishing touches.
Regardless of where you choose to place these items, I think there are a few staples that every guest bathroom should have. Soap is a given, but when it comes to extra touches, things like lotion, poo-pouri and extra hand towels are always a nice touch! And trust me, your guests will thank you.
I usually like to pick things that function both practically and aesthetically. When it comes to picking out soap or lotion, I love to find products that have nice labels/packaging. Additionally, finding some cute hand towels to either hang or fold and place in a tray behind the toilet is an added touch!
I personally love to have something on the back of the toilet tank just to keep it from looking too plain. Keep it simple with a small tray that holds just a candle, an extra roll of toilet paper, and possibly an extra hand towel.
You can style this however you'd like with plants, diffusers, tissues etc. The goal is to pick a few small items and keep it simple!
Your guest bathroom is arguably the most used bathroom in the house. I hope this post inspires you to make it enjoyable for your guests and yourself!
I love working on spaces like this because they are on the easier side but also make a big impact. Brightening the space for Spring may make it feel brand new.
With minimal effort and money, you can turn a small space into a beautifully decorated one! If you enjoyed what you read or saw in this post, be sure to leave a comment below.
